I'd been hearing about this place for years, and it immediately lived up to expectations. I was helped almost immediately, by an employee who was both friendly and knowledgeable. He made sure I didn't have any food allergies before offering me a sample cookie. I ordered 7 cookies, and they came to about 5. They're tasty, but regular sized cookies, so they're good for kids, a small treat, or if you want to try a few (they're about the size of the cookies I normally make at home). I didn't try the sandwiches, but probably will next time.

No frills interior but that’s not problem. The food is simple stuff done very well. Their fresh baked bread that they use on their sandwiches is the show stealer for me. And don’t forget to grab some cookies. Ps the meatloaf sandwich is my favorite but I had the tuna melt today on rye and it was delightful.

If anyone like Thanksgiving type food all year long like I do go get their Thanksgiving Sandwich... It is such a treat when craving turkey stuffing and cranberry...yummy. It a taste explosion especially with the tart cranberry sauce. It's toasted and on great bread. Also you also get a pickle and a side of potato salad. Great lunch or try their breakfast sandwiches and baked goods...I recommend the Raspberry cookies. Totally worth it.

I have been getting their chicken salad wrap for over 6 years now. My family and I traveled from FL and made sure to stop here. It's definitely my favorite lunch spot in the entire area. They have the most delicious cinnamon sticks (kind of like a cinnamon bun). It's cozy and they accommodate food for children. My son loved getting a giant cheese tortilla they made for him growing up. The service is spectacular.

I love Village Bake House for the hand-crafted sandwiches, soups and salads that are a delicious alternative to fast food! They have amazing cookies and pastries too!

Haven't been here in a long time and stopped while in the area. Still delicious. Buffalo Chicken Rustica was always my favorite and it's still awesome.

The pastrami reuben with potato salad is one of my go-tos from anywhere in the area. Hard to beat it, especially for the price. Service is always great!
